  1. Choose language
    Choose the right language (FR or DE) during LOTRO B11 game client installation
  2. Download the last archive with translation fixes: FR (V. 1.0.2) or DE (V. 1.0.1)
  3. Open downloaded archive by any archiver utility (we recommend 7zip) or extract it anywhere
  4. Copy ‘local’ folder to the game folder
    Copy local folder to the game folder on path <...>\The Lord of the Rings Online\echoespatch
  5. (Only if it’s not a first clear install)
    Press ‘Yes to All’ to update .patch files when needed

  6. Play as usual
  7. (How to switch language)
    Just rename ‘local’ folder to different name (f.e. <...>\The Lord of the Rings Online\echoespatch\local_no).

    You can store as much local versions as you need. Furthermore, you can switch folders during game process, while client is running. You don’t need to reload the client, but it may take some time to change the language. Go through loading screens to speed things up. The wise idea would be to create 2 or more .bat files with the rename function to do it in one click.
