Getting Pages

Credit: Galadhrim LOTRO Legendary Traits

These are gained through legendary books for each class, the books drop randomly in areas lvl 39+, Trollshaws, Misty Mountains and Angmar. They give an accomplishment to acheive in your class tab in accomplishments (shift + L) to talk to someone related to your class.

These are:

• Boromir for Captain
• Elrond and Gandalf for Loremasters
• Bilbo Baggins for Burglars
• Legolas for Hunters
• Samwise for Guardians
• Gimli for Champions
• Lindir for Minstrels

Note 1: All these npc's are located in Rivendell.

Note 2: The trait maybe completed at level 39, but the first Legendary Trait Slot does not open until level 41.

Once you've talked to them they give you a quest to find 8 pages that are missing from the books, that is recorded in your class accomplishments.

Burglar

Book of Knives: Flashing Blades - 3rd Critical Strike response chain attack, follows Double Edged Strike (ie. BA->DES->FB)

Knee Breaker's Manual: Sweep the Knee - Your Trip skill does not break Stealth and recovers much more quickly. This increases your Trip ability. Decreases Trip reset time by 40.0 seconds

The Book of Oaths: Oathbreakers Shame - you levy a curse on your foe which increases the damage you can do to the creature.

Final Word: Challenge The Darkness - You know how to goad your enemies into attacking you, leaving your allies free to maneuver. This skill generates additional threat and forces nearby opponents to attack you as well as raising guardians ward.

Valour's Marches: Anthem of the Wizards - This skill calls upon song to blast your enemies with an area-of-effect light that will slow the creatures who are hit by it. You will have a short window after playing a tier 3 song to play one of these and it will reset your ballad counter back to start.

Melodies of the Valar: Rally! - The ways of the Eldar are not lost to all races yet, you may bring hope to those whose morale has been entirely depleted, reviving a defeated target in combat.
