The Tailor Profession: Weaving Your Way to Success

The Tailor is an essential crafting profession in Echoes of Angmar. It revolves around creating cloth and leather items, including armour pieces. The primary tool for this profession is the Tailor's Tools, and a workbench is required to craft items.

Getting Started with Tailoring

From the onset, you'll need Boiled Light Leather, which is processed by a Forester. Hence, it's beneficial to team up with a Forester early on, or else you might find yourself paying high prices at the auction hall. Once you've gathered around 60 pieces of Boiled Light Leather, you can begin honing your tailoring skills.

Crafting Armour Pieces

Initially, aim to craft two Leather Pads for every one Leather Binding you make. The patterns for your early armour pieces require the same number of each item: two Boiled Leather, two Leather Pads, and one Leather Binding.

Maximising the Apprentice Level

Start by crafting the armour pieces your character needs, then take orders from other players. If no one is around, continue making the same item until you've reached the maximum Apprentice level.

Quest for Advancing to the Next Crafting Tier

Once you've maxed out the Apprentice level, you'll receive a quest from the Novice Tailor. Completing this quest is crucial as it allows you to progress to the next crafting tier, opening up more complex and valuable items to craft. Remember, mastering each tier enhances your skill, enabling you to create superior items that can help your character and others thrive in Middle-earth.
